A sunny warm day in Ketchikan, Alaska – a place often known for its rain. Ketchikan – the earliest city in Alaska and by some called the salmon capital of the world, is set at the southernmost entrance to Alaska’s inside passage – a coastal route for ships and boats along a network of passages which weave through the islands of the Pacific Northwest.
A beautiful historic town in a brilliant setting which as we walked through is quiet and most shops and restaurants are closed at this time in the world.
Tomorrow we plan to depart and head up the Alaskan coast line to Kodiak
Wow! Incredible scenery! Thanks Val for the beautiful photos!
Safe travels!!
