Final leg

The final leg of our voyage. Porto, Portugal to Gloucester, England with an ETE of four hours and forty minutes.

A rainy day in Porto but what was supposed to be a clear and smooth flight pretty much all the way to England. However, things do not always go as planned with weather. The first two hours were quite cloudy and turbulent and we had to climb and descent a few times to avoid icing.

Luckily the last two hours cleared up and we were able to enjoy the views of France and England.

We landed in Gloucester around 1:30 and were greeted by Ben Sibthorpe and his son who helped pack up our things and drove us to the train station.

On our way to the train station (which was actually in Cheltenham the next town over) we learnt this small unassuming town was also home to GCHQ (the English equivalent of the American Pentagon)

Thank you very much for following along. This was an incredible experience and I feel very grateful to be a small piece of a greater journey for this Caravan.
