Winnipeg to St Johns

Hello everyone!

My name is O’Danis. I am incredibly grateful to be doing this ferry trip along side my dad. I am a King air captain at Fast air and this is an incredible opportunity to learn a new type of flying and see a little more of this beautiful world.

I’m sure you are all used to Val, my mom being the writer behind these posts. However for this trip Dylan, my dad has a different co pilot! It worked better for me to go along this ferry trip and so here I am!

We will be delivering a caravan from Winnipeg to England. I am not sure my blogging skills are on par with my moms but I will do my best to take you along on this trip.

Turns out it has to get colder before it gets warmer! We departed out of Winnipeg yesterday morning.

A beautiful blue sky day at around -10, after around six hours in the air we arrived in Quebec City which was around -24 over night. Neither of us were too interested in walking in the cold but we did get the chance to enjoy some Quebec classics, Poutine and Steak and Fries!

This morning we made our way to St Johns. Around a four and a half hour flight and some beautiful views!

We arrived around 5pm and planned on walking up Signal Hill. Unfortunately things took a little longer at the airport than expected so we walked around town and got some seafood for dinner.

Early bedtime tonight as we prepare for the North Atlantic crossing tomorrow morning to the Azores!
