Iceland to the Netherlands

We had a day in Iceland as we waited for our August 19 arrival date in the Netherlands
A country with landscape unlike any where else in the world
We’ve been coming here for 20 years on our ferry flights. It is truly remarkable how it has grown and taken off since our first time here.
We went on a hike up a mountain by the black beach in Reynisfjara
Got to the top and a sheer drop down
If you look closely you can see me lying on the grass to look over the edge
Wheels were up early this morning and up and over the clouds all the way to the Netherlands
I always feel so grateful for clear skies because it isn’t always the case. Today we got one Iceland view of a mountain peaking out.
Our route today
Our first view out of the clouds and one of the many wind farms in the Netherlands
The Netherlands are known for their innovative farming. Farm land north of Amsterdam
Beautiful gardens in Apeldoorn
A warm reception by MAF in Tuege airport.

We will leave N201KM here – where it will depart in the next while for Australia then to Papua New Guinea. Thank you for joining along
