This August there are two aircraft deliveries from Moundridge, Kansas – (where they are fitted with ferry tanks ) to their first destination – Teuge, Netherlands- before heading off to where they will be put to work for MAF International.
Last week Dylan picked up the brand new Caravan from Witchita, Kansas and brought it to Winnipeg- where we will depart from – as we deliver it to the Netherlands – (a stop on its way to Australia and then to Papua New Guinea)
We plan leave early tomorrow morning on a long 10 hour leg to Nuuk, Greenland.
Weather is good and so we are on our way.
Today the winds were gusting to 48 knots (89 kilometres!!!) in Nuuk and we are fortunate they have calmed right down.
