From Nauru to Solomon Islands

Beautiful moon in the morning on our drive to the airport in Nauru
The swimming beach last night has been transformed with the tide
Our handler and airport employees. Very kind and helpful and we learned a lot about the country of Nauru
The coast line
The phosphate we were looking at yesterday
Mines
Last look at the runway
First glimpse of the Solomons
Solomon Island consists of 6 major islands and 900 smaller ones
The Solomon Islands have a forest cover of approximately 90% of its land mass
It’s incredible to fly over these jungles. There are 165 breeds of birds and many that exist no where else in the world
Islands we flew over en route
A densely populated village
A full rainbow shining over an island
Coming into Honiara
The mountains surrounding Honiara
Landing in Honiara
Our last fuel up before Australia!
