Ferry Flight to DRC- up early and set off over the Atlantic

An early start in the morning- winds are strong- in the right direction!
Last evening we had the chance to walk up Signal Hill- in the charming, friendly city of St Johns
Our route today
Before heading up and over the clouds we had a good look at the chilly rough waters of the Atlantic
Everything just always looks a little more peaceful up here
Mount Pico far off in the distance. The Azores is a part of Portugal and consist of nine volcanic islands
The sky cleared as we approached Terceira Island but as what is so typical- the clouds sat right on top of the island so the view came as we made our approach.
Often landing videos can drag on a little- so here’s a quick peek at what looks to be another brilliant Azores island

We will be here for another day – so for those interested- I will post some pictures tomorrow of what we discover:)
